ore than 350 years ago, English adventurers in search of religious freedom founded the Western World's first true seat of democracy and named it Eleuthera, the Greek word for freedom. Its settlers' fleeing persecution in Bermuda and England, called themselves the Eleutheran Adventurers. Led by Captain William Sayle, the 70-member band of Adventurers first put ashore near Governor's Harbour.  This hilly, verdant isle became the "birthplace of the Bahamas," and eventually one of the most developed of the Family Islands.

You now have the opportunity to “birth” your very own development with the same beauty and tranquility of yesteryear on four acres of prime elevated land with beachfront in Savannah Sound, Eleuthera. This property provides fantastic views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Not to mention some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

The property is located opposite the world famous Windermere Island, a favorite playground for the rich and famous, including the famous diver, Jacques Cousteau and British Royalty, Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Prince Charles reportedly visited Windermere, not only on his honeymoon with Diana, where they spent romantic days frolicking in the quiet seclusion of island life but also about 8 other times.
